Structured Analysis

The term "structured analysis" refers to techniques involving a predetermined series of steps.[1] In general, this form of analysis enables the internal process of analysis to become transparent.[2] The process can be reconstructed or examined by an outside party.[3] This allows the process to become collaborative exposing the analyst to divergent perspectives.[4] A strong belief exist that this form of analysis mitigates cognitive limitations found in other forms of analysis.[5]
